On 31 March 2022, SCHOCK, the innovative German manufacturer of premium quartz composite kitchen sinks and supplier of mixer taps, acquired UK kitchen sink and tap supplier The 1810 Company.
The 1810 Company was founded in 2009 by managing director Gareth Williams. Its offices and warehousing facility are located in Mold, North Wales. The company also showcases its products in a dedicated trade showroom in the Business Design Centre in Islington, London. The acquisition gives SCHOCK the opportunity to expand its sales footprint in the UK. ‘The 1810 Company‘s strong position in the UK market gives us the perfect platform to build on.
